Spotify is good but...
- I want Artist Radio but based on multiple artists
- I want to be introduced to fresher new music. Spotify's recommendations always feel stale.
I’ve had this idea rattling around in my head for over 5 years. So I finally built it to test the limits of AI generated code using my homegrown AI coding assistant. What would have previously taken me months, I was able to build in days.
- Allows you to select the Artists and Songs you want to hear in a playlist, and then allows you to control how much “new” stuff you want introduced (artists/songs not already in your listen history).
- Fully integrates with Spotify via OAuth to pull in your Spotify listening history. Spotify Premium users can control Spotify devices from within the app.
Here is one of the playlists that it generated for me (playlist title defaults to AI generated). I can start my day by choosing a few artists/songs and then generate a new playlist that will also sprinkle in fresh songs/artists.
